Your privacy matters to us. This website has been intentionally designed to respect your data and protect your privacy by default.
This page is intentionally short and written in plain language. Privacy policies shouldn’t be confusing or designed to be ignored.
No Personal Data Collection
We genuinely don’t collect, store, or process any personal data from visitors browsing our site. There are no tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or sneaky third-party requests embedded anywhere. What you see is what you get - a clean, fast website that respects your digital privacy.
Anonymous Browsing Experience
When you land on our site, you are 100% anonymous. We do not track you, nor do we use any cookies to identify or monitor your activity. Your visit is completely private, with zero tracking, unless you decide to take the next step and fill out a form.
Local, Anonymized Analytics (No Third-Party Involvement)
We do use local, anonymized analytics to improve the website experience. These insights help us better understand how people interact with the site. This data is purely for internal use and is never shared with third parties. All data is processed locally, keeping everything within our secure infrastructure.
The Hive: Data Collection After Consent
If you choose to join "The Hive" and fill out our community form, that’s when we collect and process the data you provide. When you submit the form, we record the information you’ve entered. At this point, a tracking cookie is set, allowing us to engage with you as part of our community.
This tracking is handled entirely locally through Mautic, and importantly, this data is never shared with third-party services for their own marketing or data collection purposes. It’s ours and yours alone, and we take great care to ensure it’s protected.
Actionable Transparency
At the very bottom of the footer, we openly tell you if The Hive cookie is set and give you the option to remove it with one click.
Be aware that interacting with The Hive content may set the cookie again.
Designed for GDPR Compliance
We’ve designed our entire approach to be fully GDPR-compliant without the need to nag anonymous visitors with consent banners. You can rest assured that we don’t use third-party services that would exploit your data for their own purposes. After you accept this policy and choose to join our community, all data collected is used only to enhance your experience with us, not for advertising or tracking by anyone else.
No Third-Party Requests
Our website makes no outbound requests to third-party services for analytics, fonts, scripts, or assets. This means your data stays entirely within our control - there are no other companies with access to your information. Your visit stays between you and us.
You can verify this yourself by opening the Network tab in the Console (F12). All requests hit endpoints within the hoxey.io domain.
Privacy is a Core Value
This privacy-first approach requires ongoing costs and effort to maintain local systems secure and up to date when we could simply use a third-party service with a consent banner.
These services are often free because they sell your data to advertisers and we don't like it. We don't just say we believe in a free and decentralized Internet while cutting corners, we are committed.
EU-First Hosting & Security
Everything runs on servers located in the European Union because data sovereignty matters. We use Cloudflare for protection and lightning-fast delivery, ensuring that security (DDoS protection, bot filtering) is top-notch while keeping everything GDPR-compliant. Any basic logging they do is purely for security purposes, never for tracking or advertising.
Questions About Your Privacy?
Got questions about how we handle your data? Want to request deletion of your contact form submission or data from "The Hive"? Just curious about our privacy approach? Drop us a line at [email protected] - we’re real humans who actually read and respond to emails.
This policy covers our website at hoxey.io. For our management dashboard at dashboard.hoxey.io, we apply the same privacy-first approach and log security-relevant actions for compliance, never for marketing, and never shared with third parties. Full details are available in the dashboard Terms of Service.
